UACOA hires new Village Services Coordinator

The Upper Arlington Commission on Aging (UACOA) is excited to announce that we have hired a new Village Services Coordinator for UA Village.  Cecilia Glancy will be joining the team May 13, 2024.

Cecilia comes to us with an educational background in Health Science and Aging.  She sat on the Student Advisory Board for the Office of Geriatrics and Gerontology at The Ohio State University. Her heart for seniors was developed early and led to her receiving her STNA (State Tested Nursing Assistant) while still in high school.  She has a passion for making sure that older residents have the access to the resources and connections they need to successfully age in place.

As the point person for UA Village, Cecilia will be sharing the opportunity for membership and volunteer growth and engagement, helping to connect member needs with volunteers, and developing programming and social opportunities.

Launched in November 2022, UA Village is a program of the UACOA and is the 7th village in the Greater Columbus area. Through a combination of volunteer and other resources, UA Village helps older residents of Upper Arlington stay and thrive in the neighborhoods they love.  For more information about UA Village, visit www.UAVillage.org or call 614.427.3920.
