The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, through the Administration for Community Living, sponsors a program called the Senior Medicare Patrol (SMP).  In Ohio, this program is administered by a non-profit called Pro Seniors, Inc. headquartered in Cincinnati. The SMP mission is to empower and assist Medicare beneficiaries, their families, and caregivers, to prevent, detect, and report suspected healthcare fraud, errors, and abuse through outreach, counseling, and education. Do you have a family member with Medicare issues?  Come learn about Medicare Part A and Part B benefits, the prescription drug benefit (Part D), Medicare Advantage plans, and Medicare supplement insurance. This event is hosted by the Upper Arlington Commission on Aging and presented by Ohio Senior Health Insurance Information Program (OSHIIP), a service of the Ohio Department of Insurance.  OSHIIP staff are trained by the state and do not sell or promote any insurance companies, policies, or agents. Do you have questions about your individual Medicare coverage? Volunteers from OSHIIP join the UACOA for a day of one-on-one appointments.  REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED.
